I converted my '87 mustang 4cyl to a 5.0 in about 2 weeks working on it when I had a chance.
I had no hoist or special tools (had to rent a couple) and had little trouble.
(except for hooking the wrong computer up first time)
- I DIDN'T use the 5.0 main body wiring harness. I had to study the wiring diagrams for hours but it still would have taken longer to switch the harnesses as well as cost $$.
- I used the 4cyl break lines with a length of line off the 4cyl rear end.
- I used the 4cyl front springs because I never go the chance to switch them with my BBK's.
